READ THIS ENTRY BEFORE SENDING PMS, please. The bullet points below answer what communities are part of AP (basically whose files are we reuploading) and HOW TO JOIN AP.

• Most of the older subbed videos are gone. There are a lot of fans out there who would be willing to help out, but all of us would like to ask for the fansubbers' approval if we can reupload their files.


• This community will contain all of taijiprojectsub's (Becky) subbed files. Per Becky's request, posts containing her files are locked to members only. Please join arashiproject to access these files. Please remember not to share Becky's files outside the community, but please feel free to direct everyone who wants to download the files to this community. Everyone's welcome!


• This community will contain ao_no_michi's subbed files. All files will be on locked posts that only members have access to. Again, please remember not to share these files outside this community, but please feel free to redirect everyone who wants to download them here.


• This community will contain all subbed files that techni_teddy and nyanchan have collaborated on. Again, please remember not to share these files outside this community, but please feel free to redirect everyone who wants to download them here.


• Just click on JOIN, and wait to be accepted in the community!

If there are other comms that you wish to be contacted, please send me the email address and the LJ user of the owner/maintainer of that community. Email me at lyra.gill@gmail.com.

To the fansubbers:

• We understand if you don't want your links posted outside your community. What we can suggest is that we can help you reupload the files, and you can be the one to edit the original journal entry of the subbed file. However, if you don't have time to maintain/update your community, I am more than willing to help you maintain the community (in accepting new members and updating old posts with new links). This way, your links will still remain inside your community.

Hello. It has been years since the last time I have been active in arashi fandom. My university life is over and now am taking my leisure time to drop by into this fandom again. Apart from that, I noticed some of my old videos unknowingly went missing. So, thank you so much for setting up this community. I hope to be accepted into this community. This is a fantastic idea! I understand subber's concerns, although it has made it insanely hard for new fans (and old fans like me who've lost most my videos). I wish there was a better way! But it's kind of exciting to see the LJ community is still going strong -- I took a break and have migrated mostly to Tumblr but it looks like this is still the spot for Arashi fans.

I'd be happy to help out (unfortunately the only things that have really survived my hard drive crashes are G no Arashi and a mix of HnA/PV videos so I don't know if I'll be helpful for finding lost videos) if you need just generic manpower.

Are you guys not asking other subbers anymore because you've already asked everyone and either no response or were rejected? I'm just curious what the reaction to reuploading/maintaining has been within the community since it's true almost everything was MF or MU and pretty much everything is gone in the other communities.

Being late to the Arashi fandom (Australia always gets things last...:/ ), I am hunting high and low for any and all old Arashi programs so I can catch up. I have been on an adventure around live-journal looking and the trail eventually led me here. Would I be able to join your community?
I am in a few comms here on LJ and know the very strict rules of no sharing and no reuploading without permission (Johnny sounds scary, who would want him as an opponent legally?), and I promise to abide by all the rules ('cause I really, really want to watch ALL the shows :3 ).
