January update and thank you!

Hi everyone!

You must know by now that you've all been sent an email as a mean to reach people who left the fandom but could be able to contact some community owners. This action (community email) was possible thanks to the wondeful anonymous gifts by anon(s), because this feature is only available on premium LJ accounts. Thanks to that, we managed to get some people back to share some dead files as well! So from all the team and the fandom, thank you!

Also, as it was mentionned earlier, the membership of

pikanchi_subs is maintained again and their awesome mods have updated everything :D

Update: Regarding DNA PMs

Hi everyone!

A quick update that will interest only a very little group of people, but I have no other way.

If you've sent me or

jheili a PM regarding the reopening of DNA, and if you haven't heard back from us, it's because your LJ security settings are set so high that we cannot reply to your PMs! For some of you, I went as far as dropping you a comment on one of your entries so we could get in touch in the end, but some of you either don't have any LJ entry to comment on, or set again your security settings so high that only your friends can comment on your entry, so there is no way that we will ever be able to send you the address or let you know that there is a problem!

So please, either change your security settings, or you can alsp send me a DM on twitter if you don't want to touch your security settings.

If you don't do any of that, we cannot help you at all!

Hi everyone! This is our Christmas/Aiba-chan's birthday present for you! (a little early because the next few days are gonna be really busy).

Also, shameless plug, but I've opened a new community called

sub_sub_gakkou which acts as a "school for fansubbing" wth lots of video tutorials. You'll also find video tutorials for creating mirrors, so don't hesitate to check them if you've always wanted to help us with that but didn't know how to do it :)

Also, while I'm at it, just a quick note to tell you that our amazing team is still at work mirroring every files here to at least 4 different hosting sites, we're currently still working on the Newshfan masterposts (because DAMN THERE'S A LOT), so you might sometimes see new masterposts popping up, that's absolutely normal, that's because we've reached the character limit set by livejournal, so we have no other choice than splitting the masterposts to make everything fit.
