This is a fantastic idea! I understand subber's concerns, although it has made it insanely hard for new fans (and old fans like me who've lost most my videos). I wish there was a better way! But it's kind of exciting to see the LJ community is still going strong -- I took a break and have migrated mostly to Tumblr but it looks like this is still the spot for Arashi fans.

I'd be happy to help out (unfortunately the only things that have really survived my hard drive crashes are G no Arashi and a mix of HnA/PV videos so I don't know if I'll be helpful for finding lost videos) if you need just generic manpower.

Are you guys not asking other subbers anymore because you've already asked everyone and either no response or were rejected? I'm just curious what the reaction to reuploading/maintaining has been within the community since it's true almost everything was MF or MU and pretty much everything is gone in the other communities.
